Chocolate
Never offer chocolate to someone trying to lose weight! What on earth is the matter with you?
Don’t you know that every time you offer chocolate to someone, like me, and we refuse with a polite ‘Oh no thank you’ that every fibre in our body is screaming "GIVE IT TO ME!"
There is an appealing theory that suggests two pieces of chocolate a day stabilizes women’s mood swings and creates hormonal balance. Well maybe – but chocolate comes in BIG blocks and I have tried to break off two pieces and it doesn’t work. Minimum breakage – 5 ¾ pieces - which is untidy, very untidy and needs to be leveled up. And then of course when trying to "tidy" the block up, the extra bits go in the mouth and before I know it, the whole block has been devoured!
I don’t say no to chocolate because I don’t like it – I say no because if I eat one piece I become a crazy person and want to eat the whole king size bar.
Be selfish, don’t share - keep your damn chocolate to yourself! Please!
